Ricky Jay is an expert sleight-of-hand artist who is a
leading authority cheating, con games and scams. He has
served as a consultant on many movies which feature cons and
gambling. He originally got well known for his talent for
scaling cards further and faster than anyone and wrote the
definitive book on the subject (Cards As Weapons). He has
starred on several Broadway shows with gambling and cheating
themes. Jay is also an authority on related subjects such as
sideshows, circuses, and other unusual and bizarre
performers.As an
actor Jay has had numerous rolls on television, film and in
the theater. A notable card-cheating roll was in David
Mamet's "House Of Games" where he played George. |
